After losing his best friend to suicide, Luccketta was faced the crushing weight of grief. Searching for a way to process his pain, he turned to obstacle course racing—a brutal test of strength and endurance—as an outlet to confront his suffering and find healing. But his journey didn’t stop there.

He founded Lionhearts Fitness, an award-winning nonprofit gym where he now coaches kids and young people on the connection between physical and emotional health. Through free fitness courses, he helps kids build strength, confidence, and resilience—showing them how to navigate life’s challenges both on and off the course.

Supported by the OCR racing community, Savage Races, Spartan, Tough Mudder, and his hometown community, his story is a testament to the power of movement, purpose, and connection in the face of overwhelming loss.
